Site Manager – Industrial New Build Projects
Location: South of England (Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

About the Opportunity:
Meriton Associates is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee industrial new build projects across the South of England. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in managing construction projects, particularly those involving steel frame structures, groundworks, and civil engineering components. You maybe asked to manage a project up to £5m individually or support a Project Manager on £10-15m project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols in compliance with CDM regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and quality control checks.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Manage procurement processes, including ordering materials and scheduling deliveries.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, safety documentation, and project logs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) are essential.
