The Opportunity
Meriton Associates are pleased to be partnering with a well-established regional construction contractor to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This company has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial, education, infrastructure, and public sectors.

The Role
Working alongside the commercial team, you will support the financial delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Supporting procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Preparing and reviewing valuations and variations
- Assisting with subcontractor accounts and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance
- Supporting the senior commercial team in managing risk and opportunities
About You
- Degree qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
- 1–3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role (placement or post-grad experience welcomed)
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and motivated approach with a desire to learn and develop

- Salary - £30,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
